Capture (Coming Soon) browser feedback (Coming Soon) with screenshots (Coming Soon) and DOM (Coming Soon) details

Pairbar Notes & Capture (Coming Soon) keeps visual feedback with its evidence on your Mac. In a connected supported browser, element captures include available DOM (Coming Soon) selectors and computed CSS. In other apps, Capture (Coming Soon) keeps the screenshot (Coming Soon) and labels the available Accessibility evidence.

Before you start

  • Pairbar installed with Screen Recording permission for screenshots (Coming Soon).
  • Safari, Chrome, Chromium, Brave or Edge for native DOM (Coming Soon) capture (Coming Soon).
  • Browser automation permission and Allow JavaScript from Apple Events enabled for the selected browser.

Steps

  1. Connect the browser
Open a normal HTTP(S) page. Use Connect browser in Notes and follow the browser permission guidance. In the browser's developer menu, enable Allow JavaScript from Apple Events. Enabling it in one browser does not enable it in another. The native route needs no extension.
  2. Start a fresh session
Open the Notes circle beside the microphone and choose New Session. Pairbar supplies a local name and timestamp. This separates the next batch from earlier feedback. Click the outlined session selector to search and switch between sessions; rows show dates and note counts, with a Current label on the session receiving new notes.
  3. Capture the target
Hover Notes to reveal Capture (Coming Soon). Hover the page to preview an element and its available font and colour information. Click to select an element or drag a screen area. Esc cancels. Restricted pages, cross-origin content and the embedded Codex browser may have screenshot (Coming Soon)-only evidence.
  4. Comment and inspect
Write in the anchored comment field or use its microphone. Params opens a searchable property table. Check the selector and its snapshot uniqueness diagnostics, selected HTML, geometry, computed fonts and colours, and observed CSS variables. These are page values, not guaranteed repository or Figma token mappings. Confirm, or press ⌘Return, to save.
  5. Transfer the evidence
Drag the card into a file-capable local chat. Dragging a selected card includes all selected notes; Drag session exports the session in full. To chat prepares Pairbar's local composer for review. Use Copy for AI or ⌘C outside a text field to copy selected notes, or this session if nothing is selected. It offers both Markdown and a local file URL; text fields keep normal copying. If attachment handling differs in your chat app, use Export package… and Finder.
  6. Check every outcome
The package contains brief.md, manifest.json and copied images. Ask the agent to read the images and report a result or blocker for every stable note ID. Local paths need access to this Mac; a cloud agent cannot read them automatically.

Frequently asked questions

Why are DOM parameters missing?
Check the source status in Params. Browser permission, the browser's JavaScript-from-Apple-Events setting and a supported page are all required. Accessibility-only captures explicitly say that no DOM (Coming Soon)/CSS was captured. An old exported package is a fixed snapshot; capture (Coming Soon) again after connecting.
